Fequently Asked Questions About Private Practice Services:

1. How does it work?

First we speak for a few minutes on the phone to clarify your needs and whether they fit with my

services or not.  Then we schedule a 50 minute consultation to discuss your situation in my

detail. After the first visit, my clients can take a personality test (the MMPI-2) that will help me to

get to know you faster. It can make the therapy much more efficient.  The second session

involves feedback about the test results if you've taken the MMPI-2.  In the second session we

try to decide on the course of treatment.

2.  How long do I have to come?

The length of time varies on the person and their goals.  Brief, solution oriented therapy as well

as longer term supportive and growth oriented therapies are available.
